Oh Case 143 my beloved, lol. Such a bop, such a fun MV.
OK so I am legitimately delighted by the idea of some kind of love gang vs the feeling police. Head vs heart! And the solution is to reconcile head and heart and embrace cringe lololol!
So much is happening! There’s like… at least 4 versions of the group? The beginning is an extended reference to the Shining for some reason? They break the 4th wall/screen at the end? One of the versions of Seungmin’s character can rewind time? Why does the turkey slap Felix’s character? Why is the F angry??? WHAT ARE THE HEART PLUSH MONSTER TROUBLEMAKERS???
So… casefic from the perspective of the feelings police? Hilarious love gang escapades? What are those heart plush monster troublemakers and what do they want lololol??? What happens now that they’ve escaped into our world?

What I love about this MV & some possible prompt-y thoughts:

The song and MV are such a cinematic (heh) power ballad vibe. *waves hands and phone flashlight in the air*
The setting seems maybe post-apocalyptic? Where are all the other people? :( I like to think they are implied, somehow, rather than Lee Know and Seungmin’s characters being the last people.
How did they get to the house they are staying in at the beginning? How long have they been there? What did they do other than songwriting?
The posters seem to imply there was a concert planned before. So why was it so important that they make it to the concert that particular day? Is anyone out there listening somehow? :pleadingfaceemoji:

What I love about this MV & some possible prompt-y thoughts:

The atmosphere & general vibe! The visuals and the song have a sort of grimy desperate feeling but also the lightness of the falsetto bits and them playing around and ALSO the climactic desperate but together on the attack ending!
Their relationship! Could be platonic, could be romantic, could be sexy; could be long-standing or could be some kind of strangers to something… I just think about that desperate handclasp at the end A Lot, ok.
Do you like worldbuilding? GO NUTS! Is it post-apocalyptic or just like… regular abandoned industrial? Something seems supernatural or superpowers-y at least… There’s so many little odd details—the goldfish, why does the chain float, who is in that truck, what’s up with the footprints/ambiguous transformation (werewolf and wereferret lol) stuff.

This song and video are both SO silly and fun lolololol. So much wordplay! Such a weird color palette! It reminds me of like… 80s horror-comedy movies. That mix of bright and silly with off-kilter and slightly sinister.
What is UP with the weird jam factory lab? Mad science? Mad… cookery? Mad science-cookery? I mean there’s also the green uhhhh substance that is in the big vat that seems to be used for both adhesive and cleaning and NOT for eating. Also: is something WRONG with the jam? When Han and Hyunjin’s characters appear to have eaten some it seems to have an odd effect! Or is that, like, the right effect? Are they still in testing???
Who and/or what is watching them? Rival mad scientist conducting intellectual espionage? Jammy mutant rodent out for revenge and/or cuddles? This universe’s version of food safety inspectors???

This is just such a happy, playful, smile-making song & MV! So delightfully upbeat and encouraging. Like: Conflicts are introduced in the beginning but everyone gets to party and have fun together in the end! The playful, youthful energy for everyone!
It’s got such a fun magical realism thing going on and there are so many fun background characters and random details.
I mean speaking OF those conflicts: Why do they start a bingo brawl? Why is the boss so upset? Why was the U trying to escape???
I’m not saying Lee Know’s character is a catboy but he’s got kitty vibes. Also his backup dancer friends make me happy!
